The three names you'll keep seeing
Most integrated signals at CFD brokers come from a small number of specialist providers: Trading Central, Autochartist and Signal Centre (Acuity Trading). Knowing which one your broker uses tells you more about the signal than the broker's own marketing does.
Trading Central
Trading Central is an analytics company with offices in New York, London, Paris and Hong Kong. Its flagship feed for brokers is Technical Views, which it describes as 24/5 coverage of more than 8,000 instruments across equities, forex, indices, commodities and crypto. Each view gives a directional bias, key levels and the reasoning, produced by automated pattern recognition with senior analyst oversight.
The same company supplies a family of tools. Featured Ideas are its trade-idea product, Market Buzz and an economic calendar sit around it, and an Alpha Generation plug-in brings the content into MetaTrader. Brokers choose which parts to switch on. That's why two brokers can both say "powered by Trading Central" and offer different things.
Where you'll meet it: Libertex (signals on asset charts), AvaTrade (WebTrader, AvaTradeGo and the MetaTrader plug-in), IC Markets (indicators inside MT4 and MT5) and Admirals (inside MetaTrader Supreme Edition).
Autochartist
Autochartist was established in 2004 and works as an automated market scanner. It spots chart patterns and price levels that it considers statistically significant, and it lets you filter by probability. Pepperstone's guide describes a risk calculator that takes volatility, account capital and the risk percentage you accept, and a volume-guidance feature that shows how strong a move is. The scanner covers forex, commodities, indices and crypto.
It's more of a scanner than a narrator. You get a flagged pattern and its levels, with less written reasoning than an analyst-led feed. Pepperstone's own guide is blunt about the downsides: over-reliance on signals, and the chance of false signals.
Where you'll meet it: Pepperstone (Trading Tools in the client area and a MetaTrader download) and IC Markets (MT4, MT5 and cTrader).
Signal Centre by Acuity Trading
Acuity Trading describes itself as a sentiment and alternative-data company. Its Signal Centre product line includes Signal Stream, which delivers daily trade ideas through MetaTrader Expert Advisors, an API, widgets, email and messaging. When Singapore's Phillip Nova adopted it, the announcement mentioned an MT5-first rollout with signals across forex, commodities, indices and crypto and weekly insight on top global equities.
It's less common in retail sign-up flows than the other two, so it matters mostly if your broker names it specifically.

How to choose between them
You rarely get to choose the provider directly. You choose a broker, and the provider comes with it. If you can pick, match the provider to how you trade.
- You want reasons, not just levels. An analyst-led feed such as Trading Central explains its view, which helps you decide whether you agree.
- You scan for patterns across many instruments. Autochartist's scanner and probability filters are built for that.
- You trade news and sentiment shifts. Look for sentiment-based products like Signal Centre, if your broker carries them.
Whatever you pick, test it on a demo first and keep notes. The comparison on reliability explains how to keep score honestly.

Quick answers
Is Trading Central better than Autochartist?
Neither is better across the board. Trading Central is described as analyst-checked technical views with written reasoning, and Autochartist as an automated scanner with probability filters. Which fits depends on how you trade.
Do brokers pay for these signals?
They license the content from the provider. Whether the broker charges you is the broker's choice, and several say the signals are free to clients.
